Apple (medium size), chopped 1n

Cucumber (small), chopped cup

Cashews (soaked) 8 no

Celery, chopped 1 tbsp

Ginger, chopped tsp

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Spinach, chopped cup

A handful of mint leaves

Moringa leaves cup

Kale, chopped cup

An ice cold cup of water


1. In a blender, add apple, cucumber, cashew nuts, celery, ginger, lemon juice and ice cold water. Mix to a smooth mass.

2. Once this is mixed, add all the leaves to it along with ice cold water. Blend into a nice smoothie. You can stain a green smoothie or serve it as is.

3. Quick tip – make sure all the ingredients are cold and serve as soon as the green smoothie is made.

1 ripe banana

1 cup low-fat yogurt

a cup of low-fat milk

A pinch of cardamom powder

2 tablespoons of honey

a cup of walnut kernels + for decoration


1. Peel and cut the banana.

2. Mix the banana with yogurt, milk, honey, walnuts and cardamom powder until smooth.

3. Serve immediately, garnished with walnut kernels.

2 cups cooled, peeled and roughly chopped apples

8 seeded and chopped black dates (kala khajur)

a cup of chilled curd (dahi)

a cup of ice cubes


1. Combine the apples, dates, curds and ice cubes and blend in a juicer until the mixture is smooth and frothy.

2. Pour equal amounts of smoothie into two individual glasses.

3. Serve immediately.

2 medium avocados

20-30 baby spinach leaves

4 bananas, peeled and frozen

3 tablespoons of blanched and peeled pistachios

2 cups of milk

2 kiwis, peeled

Banana slices for decoration

Orange blocks for decoration

Sprinkle with fresh pomegranate pearls

Edible flowers for decoration

Halved almonds for decoration

Sprinkle with desiccated coconut


1. Remove the avocado seeds and pulp. Transfer to blender jar.

2. Add baby spinach leaves, bananas, pistachios, milk and mix to a smooth puree.

3. Transfer to a serving bowl. Place the kiwi, banana slices and orange slices on top.

4. Sprinkle pomegranate pearls on top.

5. Decorate with edible flowers and halved almonds.

6. Sprinkle dried coconut on top and serve.

5. Papaya smoothie

2 cups papaya cubes

3/4 cup chilled milk

1/2 cup curd (dahi)

1 tablespoon of honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla essence

12 ice cubes


1. Prepare a papaya smoothie by mixing all the ingredients in a blender and whisk until smooth.

2. Pour the papaya smoothie into 4 small glasses and serve immediately.
