I am a nutritionist for royalty. Here are 3 ways to reverse aging in two weeks

The fountain of youth may be just two weeks away.

That’s according to British nutritionist Gabriela Peacock, who told The Sun that she’s helped high-profile people reverse the signs of aging with the right diet.

The science is clear that we all have the power to make simple life-changing changes to improve our futures, regardless of the genetic hand we’ve been dealt, says Peacock, who has worked with royals such as Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry. .

The author, whose book “2 Weeks Younger: Secrets to Live Longer and Feel Fantastic” was published earlier this year, said it was natural for many people to “incubate unhealthy eating habits”.

The health guru said junk food, smoking, alcohol, pollution and PFAs from water bottles are all culprits that lead to early signs of aging.

“But we all have the potential to change this,” he told The Sun. “Whatever your age or health, it’s never too late to reverse your aging fast and embrace younger energy and vitality.”

According to Peacock, doing just three things can slow down the aging process for a more youthful appearance.

Avoid sugar

Although it can be difficult for anyone with a sweet tooth, Peacock advised that saying no to sugar is not only good for your overall health, but it can also slow down the aging process.

The nutritionist explained that sugar leads to “chronic inflammation, which is one of the worst enemies in reversing aging.”

Eating sugar can lead to weight gain, but as Peacock points out, “energy and hormone levels are affected, and this also affects how you look and feel.”

Get the nutrients

Of course, a balanced diet contributes to overall health, but some nutrients have anti-aging superpowers, he said.

The founder of GP Nutrition cited “antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E” that are abundant in fruits and vegetables, which “are essential to neutralize free radicals that are responsible for premature aging.”

In addition to antioxidants, he said, omega-3 fatty acids can actually reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by hydrating the skin and promoting elasticity. Eating fatty fish like salmon will do the trick. To increase skin elasticity, Peacock said collagen, found in lean protein and bone broth, is also essential.

And finally, Peacock recommended ensuring a healthy amount of protein, which “does so much good for your body.”

Hot and cold

Extreme temperatures can be a very good way to prevent aging.

Peacock said there are many ways to dip into the cold, including walking or exercising outside in the winter or switching to cold water at the end of a shower.

Peacock suggested sitting in the sauna for no more than 15 minutes and then switching to a cold plunge. leszekglasner – stock.adobe.com

“To make things easier, why not try a few seconds of cold water at the end of your shower?” he recommended. “Now I try for one to two minutes before switching to warmer water.”

Another way to try heat and cold therapy is to enter the sauna for 5-15 minutes and then jump into the cold plunge “to build endurance”.

“If you repeat this many times, the body will learn to adapt and get used to it,” he added.
